The post-holder will assist with Foyle Women’s Aid accommodation admissions within our residential settings and will provide practical support for clients, ensuring that our services are comfortable, welcoming, supportive and a safe place to live, whilst establishing and maintaining positive relationships.
Qualifications / Experience:
At least 1 year’s relevant experience in working with young people or vulnerable adults in a paid capacity; reception or administration duties; conducting Health & Safety checks; competence in MS Office & report-writing; proven ability to work flexibly as part of team & take responsibility for own work with minimum supervision; good organisational & administrative skills; excellent communication & interpersonal skills; capacity to handle pressure & adaptable to changing demands.
Applicants must also possess full driving licence & use of car for business purposes; complete & pass Enhanced Access NI Check; work evenings & weekends on weekly basis as part of the rota; work & travel to more than one site.
At least NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in relevant discipline; at least 2 years relevant experience in working with young people or vulnerable adults in a paid capacity; experience of working in a residential setting.
