FAST is looking for an administrator to join their team. The successful post holder will assume a variety of administrative tasks associated with the business within our engineering and manufacturing facility. .


  • Receive, allocate and respond (where appropriate) to customer contact by telephone, email and written correspondence within agreed timescales
  • Perform administrative duties to maintain the efficient running of the main office
  • Provide excellent standards of customer service at all times
  • Meet and greet visitors to the premises in a professional manner
  • Provide administrative support to senior managers where necessary
  • Partake in all training activities and assist in the identification and production of your personal and professional development
  • Reception duties and all activities associated with
  • Strong data analysis skills
  • Takes ownership of own functions, delivering upon agreed outputs
  • Ability to work alone, under minimal supervision and to communicate upwards within the organisation
  • Confident in discussions, including at senior level within an organisation

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • An experienced administrator with experience supporting high value products or services.
  • Fully IT literate.
  • Experience producing detailed reports, including basic analytics, using MS Office suite of products.
  • Experienced with Excel and PowerPoint. Experience loading and tracking orders through to delivery, providing updates both internally and to customers throughout the process.

Desirable Skills

  • Previous experience of working within an engineering/manufacturing environment
  • 2 years administration experience supporting high value products or services
  • B2B or end user experience an advantage
  • CRM and ERP systems desirable.
