Assist with training and development of employees;
Supervise and motivate employees so that they contribute to their level best for the effective functioning of the Food hall;
Ensure staff are aware of standards for quality, hygiene, customer service and health and safety;
Effectively deal with any enquiries and complaints;
Deliver exceptional customer service;
Ensure product quality and merchandising is done to high standard;
Assist in minimising wastage;
Accountable for cash reconciliation;
Assist in managing stock levels, making key decisions about stock control;
Be actively involved in special promotions, displays and events;
Update team members on company information/ procedures;
Assist with security of shop, stock and cash;
Accepting and checking of deliveries.
Qualifications / Experience:
Previous supervisory experience in a retail setting.
